Agenda: Bill No# 13 -53 Approving Sale of Real Estate by Board of Public Works
The Public Works and Property Vacation committee was called to order by Vice -Chair Valerie Schey to
consider one bill one bill on the agenda.
Aladean DeRose, Chief Deputy City Attorney made the presentation of bill 13 -53. She explained that the
bill asked the Council to approve the sale of 4212 and 4224 Fellows. The properties were purchased by
the city when it was thought they were needed for a public works project since changed. No longer
needed, the property was now for sale.
There was some discuss about the process of the sale, mainly how professional services were sought by
the city.
Valerie Schey asked if professional services were bid. She was told by the Mayor's Chief of Staff that
professional services were not required to be bid and were not.
There was not a quorum of Committee members present so no action was taken on the bill.
Valerie Schey adjourned at 4:22 P.M.
