COMMITTEE OF THE 'WHOLE MEETING
MAY 8TH, 1950
Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the
'Whole meeting in the Council Chamber, Monday, May 8th, 1950, at 8:10 P.M. with all members present except
Councilman Kemper. Chairman Korpal presided.
ORDINANCE N0. 3751
An Ordinance prohibiting the sale, lending, giving away, or possession of obscene, lewd, indecent or lascivious
phonograph records, sound transcriptions, wire recordings or similar device or articles, and providing
penalties for violation thereof.
Councilman Erler made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilmen Tellson seconded
the motion. Motion carried.
There being no further business, Councilman Tellson made a motion to adjourn, which motion was seconded by
Councilman Niezgodski. Motion carried, and the Committee of the Whole meeting adjourned at 8:12 P.M.
