Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in regular session in the Council Chambers, City Hall, December 22nd, 1947, at 7 :45 P.Y., vith all members present. President Brannan presided. The reading of the Minutes o{ the previous meeting was waived. COHNUNIC ATION A Resolution adopted by the Common Council of the City of Elkhart, State of Indiana, relative to the immediate erection of a State Hospital for mental patients in a central location in Northern, Indiana, was read by.the Clerk. Councilman Heideman rade a motion that the communication be acknowledged and placed on file. Councilman Richardson seconded the motion. ;;lotion carried. Monies from H- 251A,Street Lighting Fund, Your Committee of the hole, to whom was referred an Ordinance transferring, to H -261, Garbage Colledtion 16,341.57, Declaring an emergency, Respectfully report that they have em fined the matter and that in their opinion this Ordinance shall be reported to the Council as favorable.
