Richardson and Bishop. President Brannan. presided. The reading of the Minutes of the previous meeting was waived.

Fe the undersigned property owners, petition your honorable body to bhange: the zoning from Residential to
Commerical Mishawaka Avenue, 25th street to 26th, South Side of Mishawaka Avenue.

Councilman McCarthy made a motion that the petition be referred to the City Plan Commission. Councilman Mirocha
seconded the motion. Motion carried.

referred to the Committee 6f the 'mole for Public Hearing on October 27th, 1947, at 7 :30 P.M., Councilman
Heideman seconded the motion. Motion carried.

The Ordinance was given first and second reading. Councilman Korpal made'a motion that the Ordinance be
referred to the Committee of the 7v'hole for Public Hearing on October 27th, 1947, at 7 :30 P.M. Councilman
Mirocha seconded the motion. Motion carried.

The Ordinance was given first and second reading. Councilman Mirocha made a motion for suspensionrof rules.
Councilman McCarthy seconded the motion. Notion carried by a roll call vote of 6 ayes - o nays - 2 absent

The Ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 6 ayes - 0 nays - 2 absent (Richardson
and Bishop) •

The Ordinance was given first and se cond reading.
Councilman Niezgodski made a motion that the Clerk be instructed to notify the Attorney who drew up the Ordinance
to attend the next meeting of the Council to explain the Ordinance. There was no second to the motion.
Councilman Niezgodski withdrew his motion.
Councilman McCarthy made a motion that the Ordinance be referred to the Ordinance Committees and that they,
report at the next meeting of the Council. Councilman Mirocha seconded the motion. Motion carried.
President Brannaneppointed Councilman Korpal to act on the Ordinance Committee in place of Councilman George Hull,
deceased.
There being no further business, Council adjourned at 7 :55 P.M..
