President Mirocha presided. SPECIAL CALL South Bend, Indiana. October 24, 1945. TO THE CITY CLERK, PRESIDENT AND MEMBERS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. Gentlemen: You are hereby notified that under and by virtue of the authority vested in me as Mayor of the City of South Bend, in the State of Indiana, a special meeting of-the Common Council of said City i_s hereby called to meet at the hour of 7 :30 o'clock P.M., on October 26th, 1945, in the Council Chambers in said City for the purpose of acting upon the following Ordinances of the City known as: ORDINANCE 110. AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ,IAYOR AND CITY CLERK OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, TO BORROW FROM THE, STATE OF INDIANA THROUGH THE STATE BOARD OF FINANCE AN AMOUNT NOT i0 EXCEED 40,000.00, IN ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF INDIANA: AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING SAID OFFICERS TO MAKE AND EXECUTE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS EVIDENCING THE INDEBTEDNESS OF THE CITY FOR THE RE- PAYMENT OF THE ,AMOUNT BORROWED IN NOT MORE THAN FIVE YEARS ;r'ITHOUT INTEREST. ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE UAYOR AND CITY CLERK OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, TO BORROW FROM THE STATE OF INDIANA THROUGH THE STATE BOARD OF FINANCE AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $40,000.00, IN ACCORDANCE INITH THE TERMS AND PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 136 IN THE ACTS OF 1945 OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF INDIANA: AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING SAID OFFICERS TO MAKE AND EXECUTE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS EVIDENCING THE INDEBTEDNESS OF THE CITY FOR THE RE- PAYMENT OF THE ,AMOUNT BORROVID IN NOT MORE THAN FIVE YEARS WITHOUT INTEREST. ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE REDUCING BUDGETARY ACCOUNT NO. Q11 - FIRE DEPARTMENT SALARIES - IN THE A14OUNT OF $300.00 and appropriating $300.00 FOR THE USES AND PURPOSES OF BUDGETARY ACCOUNT NO. Q343 - MEDICAL, SURGICAL _PND DENTAL EXPINSES: REDUCING BUDGETARY ACCOUNT NO. S43 - STREET AND ALLEN MATERIALS - IN THE AMOUNT OF $500.00 AND APPROPRIATING $500.00 FOR THE USES AND PURPOSES OF BUDGETARY ACCOUNT NO. S251 - REPAIR`OF.BUILDINGS: REDUCING BUDGETARY ACCOUNT NO. D252 - $350.40 AND APPROPRIATING $75.00 FOR THE USES AID PURPOSES OF BUDGETARY ACCOUNT NO. D36 - OFFICE SUPPLIES, AND APPROPRIATING $275.40 FOR THE USES AND PURPOSES OF BUDGETARY ACCOUNT NO.
