Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in special session in the 'Council
Chambers, City Hall, ors Thursday, December 28, 1944 at 4:30 P.M. with all members present except Councilman Hull.

You are hereby notified that under and by virtue of the authority vested in me as Mayor of the City of South Bend,
in the State of Indiana, a special meeting of the Common Council of said city is hereby called to meet at the hour
of 4:30 P.M. on December 28th, 1944 in the Council Chambers of said city for the purpose of considering a contract
with the Dooley Electric Company for the construction of a part of a traffic signal system and for the further pur-
pose of considering a contract with the South Bend Municipal Supply Company for the purchas3 of one Patrol Street
Sweeper and for the further purpose of considering a contract for the purchase of a Payloader Tractor Shovel from
the Indiana Equipment Company, Indianapolis, Indiana.
The 'City Clerk is hereby directed to forthwith serve a copy of this notice on each and every member of the Common
Council and make due return of such service of said special meeting.

A PARTNERSHIP..
The ordinance was given first and second reading. Councilman Bishop made a motion to suspend the rules. Council-
man Richardson seconded the motion. Motion carried by roll call vote of 8 ayes - 0 nays - 1 absent (Hull). The ord-
inance was third reading and passed by roll call vote 'of .8 ayes - 0 nays - 1 absent (Hull).

The ordinance was given. first and second reading. Councilman McCarthy made a motion for the suspension of rules.
Councilman Brannan} seconded the motion. Motion carried by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 0 nays - 1 absent (Hull).
The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 0 nays - 1 absent (Hull).

The ordinance was given first and second reading. Councilman Brannan made a motion for the suspension of rules.
Councilman Heideman seconded the motion. Motion carried by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 0 nays - llabsent (Hull).
The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 0 nays - 1 absent (Hull).
There being no further business, Council_ adjourned at 4:55 P.M.
