City Hall, Monday, July 28th, 1941, at 8 :41 P.M. with all members present except Gouncilman Richardson.
Vice - president Hull presided.
COMMUNICATION
A communication from (Mrs) Lyla Maye Crosby Coffman, 415 E. Victoria St.,wa3 read. A motion by councilman
Pulaski and seconded by Councilman McCarthy that this communid ation be ref4RRAA to the Board of Works.
REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE
To the Common Council of the City of South Bend; July 28th, 1941
Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "An ordinance amending Ordinance 2331 ".
Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance be reported
to the council favorably.

Councilman Neizgodski made a motion to accept the report, motion seconded by Councilman Heideman. Motion passed.

of foods; to regulate the health of those engaged therein; the issuance of permits therefore; defining certain
terms; and providing penalities for violations thereof;
Respectfullyreport that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance be returned to the
ordinance committee for revision and further consideration.

A motion by Councilman Heideman that this report be accepted was seconded by Councilman McCarthy. Motion Passed.

Councilman Heideman made a motion to accept the report, councilman Neizgodski seconded the motion. Motion

BEING ACCOUNT NO. B14A, TO AN ACCOUNT KNOWN AS B11A, BEING THE REFUNDS,
AWARDS AND INDEMITIES FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA.
This resolution was read by the Clerk. Mr. Neizgodski made a motion to pass resolution, Mr. McCarthy seconded
motion.' —A roll call vote was taken, 8 ayes - 0 naves - 1 absent. Resolution carried.
