I. Pavey, Councilman McCarthy acted as presiding officer. All members Were pr Councilman Pulaski made a motion for the.'nomination•of Councilman Richardson as president of the Council. man Jordan seconded the nomination. The motion was carried by a vote of 9 ayes - 0 nays. Councilman. Pulaski nominated Councilman Hull as vice- president. Councilman Brannan seconded the nomination. Councilman Pulaski made a motion that the nominations be closed. Councilman Brannan seconded the motion. C man Hull Was elected vice- president of the Council by a vote of 9 ayes - 0 nays. President Richardson presided and there being no further business, Councilman Pulaski made a motion for the adj ment of the meeting at 7:37 P. M. Councilman McCarthy seconded the motion. Motioncarried. It being called to the attention of the Council that nominations for Chairman of Finance Committee were in order, the meeting reconvened at 7:38 P.M. Councilman Hull made a motion for, the nomination of Mayor J. I. Pavey as Chairman of the Finance Committee. Councilman Pulaski seconded the nomination. Councilman Pulaski made a motion that the nominations be closed. Councilman Brannon seconded the motion. Motion carried. was Mayor J. I. Pavey/elected Chairman of Finance Committee by a vote of 9 ayes. - 0 nays. There being no'further business, Council adjourned at 7:40 P. M.
