MINUTES
JANUARY 23. 1
Be it remembered that-the Common Council met in the Committee of the Whole in the Council
Chambers of the City H, - -11, Mond,-y evening, J?r_uary P3, 1939, at the hour of 7:35 P.ii. All
members were present. Ch^irmpn Jordon presided.
Resolution For An Adequate W.P.A. Appropriation.
This resolution had beenzeferredto the Committee of the .Thole for consideration. Councilman
Hull made h motion that the Resolution be rejected. Councilman Hei.dem?n seconded the motion.
A roll call vrPs tpken Ps follows: McCarthy, Jordan, Hull, Heideman - Ayes. Brennon, Richardson.
Ni_esgod.ski, Bishop, Ful -ski - Nays., 5 N^ys - 4 Ayes. The motion was lost.
Councilman Niezgodski m ^de a motion to accept the Resolution. Councilman Richardson seconded
the motion. The vote was as follows: McCarthy, Brannon, Jordan, Richardson, Niezgodski, Bishop,
Heideman, Pulaski - Ayes. Hull - Nay. 8 Ayes ,nd 1 Nay. Resolution adopted.
Councilmen Hull mode a motion to edjourn. Councilmen RJ.chard.son seconded the motion. The
meeting of the Committee of the Whole adjourned et 7 :55 P.M.
