MINUTES
DECEMBER 12, 1938
Be it remembered that the Common Council met in the Regular Session in the-Council Chambers
in the City Hall, Monday evening, December 12, at the hour of 10 :57 P.M. All members were
present except Councilman Hull. Vice President Fish presided. The reading of the minutes
were dispensed with on motion of Councilman Goetz and seconded by Councilman Bierwagen.
Motion carried.

Your committee of the whole
to whom was referred An Ordinance emending Section 13 of an Ordinance numbered 2682 adopted
by the Common Council oii the 13th day of February, 19 =S, and approved by the Mayor on February
16, 1938, being en Ordinance regulating the Production, grading, labeling, handling, pasteurise -I
tion, distribution and sele of milk, cream and certain milk products and providing for issuing
permits and licenses therefore.
Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion should be

ORDINANCE N0, 3263
An Ordinance amending Section 13 of an Ordirence Numbered 2682 adopted by the Common Council on
the 13 h day of February, 1928, end. approved by the Mayor on february 16, 1928, being-en
Ordinance regulating the production, greding,,lebeling, handling, pasteurization, distribution
and sale of milk, creem rand certain milk products and providing for issuing permits end licenses
therefor.
The ordinance was given its third reading by title and was placed upon its passage and passed
by the following vote: Goetz, Bierwagen, James, Kerner, Fish,' Chambers, Rasmussen and Palicki
ayes. 0 nays. Ordinance adopted.
ORDINANCE NO. 3269
An Ordinance amending Ordinance #2331.
The Ordinance was given its first reading by title, its second reading in full. Councilman
James moved for suspension of rules. Councilman Rasmussen seconded the motion. Roll call for
suspension of rules as follows: Goetz, Bierwagen, James, Kerner, Fish, Chambers, Rasmussen
and Pelicki 8 ayes. 0 neys. Rules suspended.
The Ordinance was given its third reading by title and was placed upon its passage and passed
by the following vote: Goetz, Bierwegen, James, Kerner, Fish, Chambe_s, Rasmussen and Palicki
9 eyes. 0 nays. Ordinance adopted.
ORDINANCE NO. 3270
An Ordinance amending Ordinance #2979 and Ordiance #3262 with reference to passenger rates for
taxicabs.
The Ordinance was given its first reading by title, its second reading in full. Councilmen
Chambers moved for suspension of rules. Councilmen James seconded the motion. Roll callfor
suspension of rules as follows: Goetz, Bierwagen, James, Kerner., Fish, Chambers, Rasmussen
and Palicki 9- ayes. 0 neys. Rules suspended.
The Ordinance was given its third reading by title and was placed upon its passegenand essed
by the following vote: Goetz, Bierwagen, James, Kernel-, Fish, Chembers, Rasmussen and alicki
8 eyes. 0 nays. Ordinance adopted.
ORDINANCE N0. 2 1
An Ordinance emending Ordinance #3112, which provided for the registration and identification
of bicycles.
The Ordinence was given its first re ?ding by title, Councilmen Chambers moved to dispense
with the second reading ass each councilmen has a. copy. Councilman Bierwagen seconded the
motion. Motion carried. Councilmen James moved that said be referred to the Committee of the
whole meeting end public hearing on December 19th. Councilman Goetz seconded the motion.
Motion carried.
There being no further business Councilman Chambers moved to edjourn. Councilman Bierwagen
seconded the motion. Potion carried. Council adjourned et 11 :20 P.M.
