REGULAR? MEETING JUNE 27th, 1935

Be it remembered that the Common Council met in the Regular Session in the Council Chambers
in the City Hall, �ond?y ever_ina, June 27th, nt the hour of 9 :55 P. 1Y. All members were pre -
sent except 'Councilman Palicki. President Hull. rresid.ed. The reading of the minutes were
dispensed rith. '
RESOLUTION:
BE IT FESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of South Bend recommend that the Board of
Public' Works and Safety instruct the City Engineer to draw an applieption for a d. P. A. project
for interceptor sewers from Logan Street to the proposed dipposhl plant on the river in the
proximity of the county f^rm, grid the construction of additional sewers to relieve or replace
those which are noun ir_ existence but inadequa=te; ^nd
BE IT th ^t the Board. of Public Works and Safety file the a.pplica -tion for this
W. P. A. project at the earliest rossibfe moment; n-nd
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Common Couzicil of the City of South Bend recommends to the
Bonrd of Public Works end Safety that they instruct the city engineer to prepc.re -en application
for r P. W. A. grFnt for the construction of a_ sewage disp osel plant, the river crossings and
the pumping strtions; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Public Works and Safety file this application for a.
P. W. A.' R�r ^nt as soon as possible after the filing of the W. P. A. project; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Controller present to the Council an ordina <nce tr'nnsferr-
ing from the, contingency fund the sum of two thousend five hundred 02,500.00) Uolla,Ts, to the
prover accounts to cover cost of preparing the application for P. W. A. grants and W. P. A.
projects..
