REGULAR MEETING
MINUTES
MAY 9th. 1938
Be it remembered that the Common Council met in the Regular Session in the Council Chambers
in the City Hall, Monday evening May 9th, at the hour of 7:35 P. M. All members were
present. President Hull presided. 'The reading of the minutes were dispensed with on motion
of Councilman Fish and seconded by Councilmen Bierwagen. Motion carried..

We, the following property owners and residents of Hervey Street and vicinity, respectfully
petition that e street light be
put up at the intersection of Harvey Street end Blaine Avenue
due to the fPct that this particular corner is very dark a,nd dangerous to the public end to
the residents of that street; furthermore it is very difficult to find the street on account
of the lack of a light.

Petition of Oscar Heintzelmen, et al for change of zoning of lots 1, 2, 3 & 5 in'Ki'rbys
sub. of lot 83 St6te Bank Outiots Second Addition to the City of South Bend urns considered
by the City Plan Commission st their reguler meeting May 5.
The City Plan Committion recommends- -that this change be made from commercipl to light industrial
use district end without change in the height end nree district.
