COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING MARCH 21st, 1935
MIRUTES
Be it remembered that the Common Council met in the Committee of the Whole Meetirg in the
council Chambers of the City HY11, Mlondry evening, March 21st, Pt the hour of 9:0� P. M. All
members rere present. Chairman Goetz presided.
RUM VILLAGE RESOLUTION:
Father Spbo apked for the !dontior of the resolution. He suggested thr':t the Park Bo,-,rd inquire
into the possible purchase of the Oliver lend.
CouncilTrr -n Rpsmussen moved to ^mend resolution and th-t the Council agrees in spirit with
Father Sabo to purchp se a-'d it tong l lf-r_d . Councilman Kerner seconded the motion.
Councilman Chambers moved to emend Councilman Rasmussens' motion that-the resolution be held, in
the committee until the lst order of business on An-r-11. 4th. Public heG.rirlg if necessary. That
the City Attorney amend present resolution for consider ^tion. Also that the council go on re-
cord that the people get nlpvvround end the thrt the City Attorney draw up a resolution for two
weeks from tonight, April 4trl in reg,-rd to purehr.sirg rkdditional 1 ^nd and equipment. Agreed.

C.�uncilman Chambers moved th ^t the Committee on Housing be discharged and. a Citizens committee
be ^ppointed . -
Ccunctlr� --n Goetz moved th ^t the Committee on Housing be continued. Councilman Fish seconded
the motion, j?ot ion cr=rried.
Councilman Hull moved for roll. ca11. on Citizens' Housing Committee, the vote vas ss follour:
Hull, Goetz, BiFrwagen, Kerner, R2smupsen r:.nd Palicki - 6 nays. James, Fish and Chambers -
3 ayes..
There being no further business Councilman Bierwnven moved to adjourn. Councilman Fish
seconded the motion. Voti. -r. carried. Committee of the Whole adjourned et 10 :01 P. IT.
