MINUTES
Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met-in the
Council Chambers in the City-Hall, on January-4th, 1937, at the hour of 7:40 o'clock P. M. for
their Annual Meeting. All members were present except Councilmen Hull..
PreBidbnt Fish -called the meeting to order.- Councilmen James-moved that the present
officers be re- elected, 0bnnct1man Fish es President; Councilmen James as Vice President- and
Countilmen Goetz 2s Chairman of the Committee of the thole. Councilman-Chambers seconded the
motion. Motion carried.
Roll Call. - Goetz, Bierw?gen, Chambers, Kerner, Rasmussen, James and Pal.icki; 7 eyes. Fish, 1
nay.
Councilman Goetz moved thAt the City Clerk cast entire vote of the council for Councilmen
Fish rs'Preeident; Cou.ncilm_ln James as Vice President and Councilmen Goetz as Chairman of the
Committee of the Whole. Councilmen Chambers seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Breaid nt Fith`-- .$sked the body of the. Council to study the rules and regulations of the
Council. Said °being referred to the Committee on Ordinances to report back to the Cc-.I,ncil.
There being no further business, Councilman Goetz moved to adjourn. Councilmen James
seconded the motion. Motion carried. Council. adjourned at .8:15 P. M.
