Be it remembered that the-Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indian2, met in the
Regular_ Session in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Monday evening, December 28th, 1g36
at the hour of 7:35 P,M. All members were present except councilman James. President Fish
presided.

The Official Bond of Peter A. Becakiewicz the duly elected County Treasurer and Ex- Officio
6th, 1936 for the
City Treasurer of the City of South Bend, Indiana, St. Joseph on November
term of two years beginning January lst, 1937, in the sum of 675,000.00 as principal the Great
American Indemnity Company , New York as Surety. Said Bond wa.s duly signed by Peter A. Beczkiew

and the Great American Indemnity Company of New -York, by their Attorney - in - fact on lst d8y
of"January lst, 1937, end was duly acknowledged by said Company by NataxyxRxbkkxx Louis C. Knap
their attorney -in -fact before a Notary Public in and for the County of Cook,_Sta.te of Illinois.
On•motion of Councilmen Goetz the Bond was accepted by the Council by the following vote: Hull
Goetz, Bierwagen, IRANN Kerner, Fish, Rasmussen and Palicki, 7 ayes. Chambers, 1 ney.

Councilman Goetz moved said two bonds be accepted. Councilman Kerner seconded the motion. Motion
