MINUTES
Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met.in the
Special Session in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Wednesday evetng, December 9th, 1936
at the hour of 7 :30.P. M. All members were present except Councilman Goetz. President Fish
presided.

CALL FOR SPECIAL MEETING

COMMON COUNCIL
.You are hereby notified that under and by virtue of the authority by law vested in me as
Mayor of the City of South Bend, of the State of Indiana, a special meeting of the Common Council
of:seid City is hereby called to be held at the hoar of 7:30 o'clock F M., or as soon thereafter
as convenient, on Wednesday evening December 9th, 1936, in the Council Chambers in said City
for the purpose of considering the following Ordinance, to -wit:
'IAN ORDINANCE'TRANSFERRIYG THE SUM OF $1,750.00 FROM CERTAIN
ACCOUNTS UNDER THE BOARD OF PUBLIC SAFETY OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND TO ACCOUNT S -15 UNDER-THE ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT,
OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC SAFETY FOR THE INSTALLATION OF TRAF-
FIC LIGHTS ON LINCOLN WAY WEST OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND."

The report of the Call of Special Meeting of the Council was accepted by the Ccu ncil and order-
ed to be placed on file. Motion carried.
ORDINANCE NO. 3197
An Ordinance transferring the sum of 41,750.00 from certain accounts under the Board of
Public safety of theCity of South Bend to Account S -15 under the Electrical Department of the
Board of Public Safety for the installation of Traffic Lights on Lincoln Way West of the City
of South Bend.
An'Ordinance was given its first reading by title, its second reading in full and on
Motion of Councilman Hull was referred to the Committee of theWhole and also that a_ public
hearing be held December 21st, 1936. Councilman Bierwagen seconded the motion. Motion carried.
There being no further business, Councilman Hull moved to adjourn. Councilman Pa.licki seconded
the motion. Motion carried. Council adjourned at 7:33 P.M.
