SPECIAL MEETING
MINUTES
NOVEMBER 30th, 1936
Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana., ntet in the
Special Session in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Monday evening, November 30th, 1936
at the hour of 7:40 P.M. All members were present. President Fish presided.

TO THE MEMBERS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL
OF THE CITY. OF SOUTH -BEND, INDIANA:
You are hereby notified that under end by virtue of the authority by law vested in me as
Mayor- of the. City of South Bend, of the State- of Indiana, a special meeting of the Common Counci'
of said City 19 hereby called to be held at the hour of 7 :30 o'clock.P. M., or as soon there -
after.es convenient, on Monday evening November °30th, 1936, in the Council Chambers in said
City, for the .purpose, of considering the following Ordinance, to -unit:
"An Ordinance transferring funds from.the Board of Health to other accounts
under Board of Health for the purchase of two Studebaker Automobiles, said
- transfer amounting to m total sum of Twelve Hundred Twenty -Two Dollars."

The within call came to hand, this 27th day of November, A.D., 1936, which I. served by
reading the same to each councilmen, apon the date designated as follows:

The report of the Call of Special Meeting of the Council was accepted by the Council and ordered
to be placed on file. Motion carried.
ORDINAKOE NO. 3195
An Ordinance transferring funds from the Board of Health to other accounts under Board of
Health for the purchase of two .Studebaker Automobiles, said transfer amounting to a total exim of
Twelve Hundred Twenty- two - Dollars.
The Ordinance was given its first reading by title, its second reading e full and on Motion
of Councilmen Chambers was referred to the Committee of the Whole and also that a public hear
ing be held December 14th, 1936. Councilman Rasmussen seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Councilman Rasmussen moved that Dr. Carter be present at this hearing. Counc 'Tlman James second-
ed the motion. Motion carried.
There being no further business, Councilman Hull moved to adjourn. Councilman Chamberis second-
ed the motion. Motion carried. Council adjourned at 7.45 P•M-
