Be it remember6d thet the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the
Reguler Session in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Monday evening, September 14th, 1936,
at the hour of 5:00 P. r'. All members were present. President Fist. presided. Councilman Hull
moved that the reading of the minutes fort he lest meeting be dispensed. with.. Councilmen Chembe
seconded the motion. rj'otion carried.

Your Committee of the Whole to whom wvs referred An Ord.inence appropriating the sum of twe.nt
five thousand. dollars from the General Fund of the Department of Public Parks of the City of
South Bend., Indiana, to said Department for the repair of the Natatorium.
Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion should be report
ed favorwble. Geo. 19. Goetz, Chairman.

$11,493.00 from the Delinquent and Deficit Fund derived from the Barrett Law Collection under
the City Treasurer's office to the General Fund of the City of South Bend., Indiana,.
Respectfully report that they have examined. the matter and that in their opinion should be re-
oorted favorrble. Geo. W. Goetz, Chairman.
The report was accepted by the Council and ordered to be placed on file. Motior.carried.

first Education Forum of the current season on Senterber 17th at 9 :00 P.M. in the Rotary Room
of.the-.Oliver Hotel.. The School Budget end the needs of the School City will be r.na'lyzed at
this time by the Bo ^rd. of Education_. This will be both informative and stimulating.
Because of your keen interest in education and in the welfare of South Bend, the
Education end Legislation Committees in charge of these Forums wishes that you would extend to
the members of the City Council 8n invitetion to be present at this meeting.

An Ordinance appropriating the sum of Twenty —Five Thousand. Dollars from the General Fund
of the Department of Public Parks of the City of South Bend, Indiana, to said Department for
the repair of the Natatorium.
The Ordinance was given its third reading by title and. w ^s placed upon its passage and
passed b;T the following vote: Hull, Goetz, Bierwage , Jam e -, Kerner, Fish, Chambers, Rasmussen
end Palick. 9`ayes 0 nays. Ord.in^n.ce adopted.

and Palicki. 9 ayes 0 nays. Ordinance adopted.
There being no further business, Councilman Hull moved to adjourn. Councilman. Chambers second-
ed the motion.. Motion carried. Council adjourned at 8:06 P. Tr1.
