Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in Special
Session in the Counc l`ChPmbere in the City Hall, Monday evening September 16th, 1935, at 5:00
o'clock P. M. All Members present. President Hull presided.
Pursuant to and by virtue of the authority vested in the Councilmen- of the City of South
Bend, State of Indiana, a special meeting of the Common Council of said City was called by vote
of entire Council, to pass an amendment to the Daylight Saving Resolution which was passed in
April, 1935 •
AMENDED RESOLUTION:
%E IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana:
That the Standard Time throughout said city, beginning with the hour of 2. •00 o'clock A.M.
on the morning of each last Sunday of each April, and ending at the hour of 2:00 o'clock A.M.
Eastern Standard time, each last Sunday of each September, -shall be that of 75 Meridian of
longitude West from Greenwich, known as Eastern Standard time;
That the clocks of the 'IunicipPl Offices at such hour of 2:00 o'clock Central Stand -
and Time on each lest Sunday of eech April be advanced one hour to —wit:
To 3:00 o'clock A.M. Eastern Standard Time and that the Vunicipel Offices and all legal and
official business of the City of South Bend shall be conducted in conformity therewith until the
hour of 2:00 oIclock A.M. Eastern Standard Time each lust Sunday of each September at which time
such clocks shall be set beck one hour to conform with Central Standard Time.
