Be it Remembered that the Common Councilmof the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the
Regular Session in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Monday evening, January 2Sth, 1935
at _the hour of 7 :55 o'clock P. M. All members present. President Hull presided. The Minutes
of the previous meeting were read and on Motion of Councilman Goetz were referred to the
Committee on the inspection and Supervision of Minutes. Motion carried.
REPORT OF THE CITY CONTROLLER OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND FOR THE MONTH OF December 1934•

RZPORT'OF- COMMITTEE -ON MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING.
To the Common Council of the City of South Bend:
Your Committee on the inspection and supervision of the minutes, would respectfully report
that they have inspected the minutes of the previous meeting of the Council and found them
correct.- They therefore recommend that the same be approved. Wm. S. James, Wm. Bierwagen,
Wm. Rasmussen, Committee. South Bend, Ind. Dec. 27th, 1934.
The report was accepted by the Council and ordered to be placed on file.
REPORT OF COMMITTEE ON MINUTES -OF ANNUAL MEETING.
To,the Common Council of the City of South Bend:
Your Committee on the inspection and supervision of the minutes, would respectfully report
that they have inspected the minutes of the previous meeting of - the Council and found them

RESOLUTION. INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMAN GEO. HULL. r
WHEREAS, the Supreme Ruler of the - Universe has called'to his reward, John C. Nelaon, a �zZ
former member of the Common Council of South Bend, and "
WHEREAS, the deceased has spent practically all his life in the City, where he was known
and loved by many_of.his friends and where he was prominent in matters pertaining to Civic
Welfare:.
THEREFORE be it resolved by the Common Council of the City of South Bendi.Indiana, that we
deeply regret ;he passing of the deceased and extend to his bereaved family the condolence
of this Council, and further be it resolved that a copy of this Resolution certified by the City
Clerk be sent to the members-of the family of the deceased.
Councilman Chambers makes a Motion to adoptz said Resolution unanimouslgm. Motion carried.
On Motion of Councilman James the Council adjourned at 9 :05 o'clock P. M. Motion carried.
