Be it Remembered.that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the
Regular Session in the Council Chambers of the City Fall, Monday evening June 25th, 1934 at,the
hour of 7:45 o'clock P:' M: All Members present except Councilman Nelson and Hull* Vice-*Presi7&-
dent presided. The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and on Motion of Councilman Oripe

.illustrzious'servant.Father Charles L. O'Donne-ll; -and
*WHEREAS,, The Father's demise is an irreparable loss to Notre Dame, his beloved Institutice
,and to the City -of South Bend and vicinity as well.
NRESOLVED,,By the Common Council of the-City of South Bend, that in the death of Father
O'Donnell this City has lost a valued friend and Counselor and that we bog to share with,the
University of Notre Dame its g;iefZk and be it further
