Special- Session in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, -Thursday evening March 29th, 1934
at the hour of'9 :15 o'clock P.' M. All Members present except-Councilman Nelson. Vice -

CALL FOR SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
COMMON COUNCIL.
TO THE-MEMBERS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF. THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA.
You are hereby notified that under and by virtue of the authority by law vested in us as
Councilmen of the City of South Bend, Indiana, a Special Meeting of the Common Council of
said City is hereby called for sArtatal 7:30 o'clock P. M., on Thursday evening, March 29th,
1934 or as soon thereafter as convenient for the purpose of Receiving a Report and for
Third Reading and taking action on the following Ordinance, which Ordinance Title is as
follows:
" An Ordinance Fixing the Annual Salaries of the City Officials of the Municipal City
of South Bend, Indiana
ALSO An Ordinance to be introduced , which Ordinance Title is as follows:
An Ordinance appropriating the sum of Eight Hundred Dollars from the General Fund of th
City of Soutly Bend, Indiana, unto the Building Department of the Board 'of Public `Works"

REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE.
To the.Common Council of the City of South Bend:
Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred An Ordinance Fixing the annual Salaries
of the City Offictials of the Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana. Respectfully report that
they have examined the mantter and that in their opinion the said Ordinance should be reported
Favorable as amended. Jno. C. Hiss;
ORDINANCE N8. 3051- Chairman.' The report was accepted by the Council.

An Ordinance Fixing the annual Salaries of the City Officials of the Municipal City of
South Bend, Indiana.
The Ordinance was given its third reading by title and was placed upon its passage and
passed by the following vote: Whiteman, Rokop, Goetz, Hull, Jaworski,-Altfeld, Hiss and Uxzzbx
Grzeskowiak voting Aye, Oakley, Cripe and Gustin voting Nay. Ayes S, Nays 3, Ordinance adopted
as amended.'
ORDINANCE NO.
An Ordinance appropriating the sum of Eight-Hundred Dollars from the General Fund of the
City of South Bend, Indiana, unto the Building Department of the Board of Public Works.
The Ordinance was given its -first reading by title, its second reading in full and on
Motion of Councilman Hull was referred to the Committee of the Whole, also that a Public
Hearing be held April 9th., 1934 at 7:30 o'clock P. M. Motion carried.
On Motion of Councilman Altfeld the Council adjourned at 9 ::20 o'clock P. M. Motion carried.
