CITY OF -SOUTH BEND OF THE COMMON COUNCIL.
TO-THE-MEMBERS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: A
You are hereby notified that under -and by virtue of the authority by law vested in
me as Mayor of the City of South Bend, of the State of Indiana, a special meeting of the
Common Council of said City m1x1xdiana;:xaxa;iazizixmzz1 is hereby called at the hour of 7
o'clock P. M., on Wednesday, March 8th, 1933, or as soon thereafter as convenient, for the
purpose of considering a resolution for the transfer of funds from the Water Department of
the City of South Bend, Indiana, to the General Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana,
also a resolution for the Transfer of funds from the General Fund-of said City to the Park
Board, Aviation Commission, City Plan Commission, Police Pension Fund, and Firemen Pension
Dated this 8th day of March, 1933.

RESOLUTION. INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMAN GEO. F. BULL.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Common Council - -of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that the Resolt
and Action of the Board of Public Works as Board of Water Commissioners in transfering Nine
Thousand Five Hundred ($9,500.00) Dollars from the Water Department a to the General Fund of
the said City, done on the 4th -day of Maroh, 1933 be in all things confirmed and such loan c
funds is hereby acceptentd.
On Motion of Councilman Hull the Resolution was adopted. Motion carried.
RESOLUTION. INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMAN GEO. W. GOETZ.
WHEREAS, Because of delinquencies in the payment of taxes: and becaused of a moratorium on
n banks and the closure of banks in which funds of the Department of Public Parks
are deposited, said Department is in need of funds for the payment of current
expenses in the sum not exceeding $ 1,848.71 ; and
WHEREAS, There is money in the General Fund.of the City of South Bend which money is
available and can be loaned unto the said Department of Public Parks -with which sai
Department can meet its said current obligations,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED that the Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana, make temporary
loan out of its General Fund to the.said Department of Public Parks in the sum of
not exceeding $1,848.71 for during and until and not later than May 15, 1933 within
which time said Department of Public Parks shall repay the said sum so loaned unto
the said City.
On Motion of Councilman Hull the Resolution was adopted. Motion carried.'
RESOLUTION. INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMAN JNOC. HISS.
WHEREAS, Because of delinquencies in the payment of taxes and because of a moratorium on
banks and the closure of banks in which funds of the FIREMEN PENSION FUNDJ�.are
deposited, said Pension Fund is in need of funds for the payment of current expenses in the
sum of not exceeding Al 74o.91.
WHEREAS, There is money in the General Fund of the City of South Bend which is available
and can be loaned unto the said Firemen Pension Fund with which said Pension Fund car_ meet
its said current obligations,
NOW THEREFORE be it RESOLVED that the Municipal City of D South Bend, Indiana, make a
temporary loan out of its General Fund to the said Firemen Pension Fund in the sut
not exceeding $ 1,740.91 for during and until and not later than May 15, 1933:
within which time said Firemen Pension Fund shall repay the said sum so loaned':unti

NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED that the Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana, make a tempora
loan out its General Fund to the said City Plan Commissiomn in the sum not exceedi
$110.00 for furing and until and not later than May 15, 1933, within which time

On lotion of Councilman Oakley the Resolution was adopted. Motion carried.
RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMAN GILT L. OAKLEY.
WHEREAS, 8eoause of delinquencies in the payment of taxes and because of a moratorium
on banks and the closure of banks in which funds of the Aviation Commission are deposited,.
said Commission is in of funds m for the payment of current expenses in the sum not
exceeding $1.,_600.95; and
WHEREAS, There is money in the General Fund of the City of South Bend which money is
available and can be loaned unto the said Aviation Commission with which said Commissiomn*
can meet-its said--current obligations_,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED that the Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana, make a
temporary loan out of its General Fund to the said Aviation Commission in the sum.m$ not
exceeding $1,600.95 for during and until and not later than May 15, 1933 within which time
said Commission shall repay the said sum so loaned unto the said City.'

WHEREAS, ecause of delinquencies in the payment of taxes and because of a moratorium on-
n banks and the closure of banks in which funds of the Police Pension Fund are deposited,
said Pension Fund is in need of funds for the payment of current expenses in the sum of_
not- exceeding.-0995.70 ; and
WHEREAS, There n is money in the General Fund of the City of South Bend which is
available and can be loaned unto the said Police Pension Fund with which said Pension Fund
can meet its said current obligations,.
NOWt THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED that the Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana, make a
temporary loan out of its General Fund to the said Police Pension Fund in the sum not
exceeding $955.70 for and during and until and'not later than May 15, 1933, within which Its
time said Pension Fund shall repay the said sum so loaned untot the said City.

That The Vice- President appoint a Committee of three to attend the fumneTal of
Anton Cermak, Mayor of Chicago, Illinois on Friday March 10th, 19330'Motior� carried.
On Motion of Councilman Altfeld the Council adjourned at 7.*45 o'clock P.'` M. Motion carried.
