Be it Remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiand, -met in-the Regular Session in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, Monday evening, October 24th, 1932 at the" flour of 7 :�+0 o�clock P.' 11 All members present except Councilman Cripe: The Minutes of the previoua.meeting-were read and on Motion of Councilman Hull were accepted.en read: &IELD ESAMINERS' AREPORTS Field Examiners' Reports fof �-#e ]Examination of the City Court , City Treasurer ( 2 Repo and of Improvement Funds , Vouncilman Hiss makes a--Motion that the Reports be accepted and placed on file, also that they be- referred to the Committee of the Whole:' Motion carried: REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE' OF THE-WHOLE. To the R Common Council of the City of South Bend; Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred a Petition of Tax- Payers-to Discontinue Free Parking. Respectfully report that they have examined the matter , and that in their opuinion the said Petition should be reported that a`fee of not less than Ten cents be charge for parking. John C. Hiss, Chairman:' The report was accepted by the Council., ORDINANCE NO. " 3003 :1 An Ordinance Transferring the sum of. Five, Hundred. ( #5j00.00) Dollars from One Appropriation in the Depbrtmentrof Finance of the City of South Bend, Indiana to another appropriation in then same epartment :' The Ordinance was given its first reading by title, its second reading in full and on Motion of Councilman Hull the Rules were suspended by the following vote Nelson, Whiteman., Hull, and Ordinance goes third readilengy, Grzeskowiak and Gustin Ayes 11 Ng s O. ORDINANCE' N0. ,_3004o- An Ordinance Transferring-certain amounts from certaiii appropriationswithin8 the Department of Public safety to other appropriations within the same Department.` The Ordinance was given its first reading by title, its second reading in full and on Motion of Councilman Hull the Rules were suspended on the following vote; Nelson, Whiteman, Rokop,_Goetz, Hull, Jaworski, Altfeld, Hiss, Oakley, Grzeskowiak and Gustin, Ayes 11, Nays 0: Rules-suspendedy and Ordinance goes to third reading: The Ordinance was given its third reading by title, and was placed upon its passage and ,passed the following vote: Nelson, Whiteman, ROkop, Goetz, Hu11, Jaworski, Altfeld, Miss, Oakle rzeskowiak , *Ayes 11, Nays O: Ordinance adopted.' ORDINANCE N0. An Ordinance Concerning Water Heaters: The Ordinance was given its first reading by title, its second reading in full and on Motion of Councilman Altfeld was referred to the Committee of the Whogle. Motions carried: ORDINANCE NO. 3005. ' An Ordinance approving and confirming a Resolution fort the Replacement of the Ties and Rail Removed from Western Avenue by a proper Pavement:' The Ordinance was given its first reading by title, its second reading in full and on Motion of Councilman Altfeld the Rules were pusended_by thet following vote: Nelson, Whiteman, Rokop,, Goetz, Hull, Jaworski, Altfeld, Miss, Oakley, Grz.eskowiak, and Gustin, Ayes 11, Nays 0.' Rules suspended and Ordinance goes to third reading. The Ordinance was given its third reading by title, and was placed upon its passage and passed by the following vote- Nelson, Whiteman, Rokop, Goetz, Hull, Jaworski, Altfeld, Hiss, Oakley, Grzeskowiak and ftip�x Gustin, Ayes 11, Naps 0 :' Ordinances adapted.'
