REGULAR MEETING.
MINUTES.
Be it Remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana,, met in the
Regular Session in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, Monday evening, August 22nd, 1932 a
the hour of 7:45 o'clock P. M. All Members present except Councilmen Rokop, Hull, Altfeld and
Gustin, . President Nelson presided. The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and on
Motion of Councilman Whiteman the Minutes were accepted as read:`
REPORT OF THE CITY CONTROLLER OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND FOR THE MONTH OF JULY 1932.

ORDINANCE NO. 29_
An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 2331, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance
insofar as itbapplies to use of certain property in the City of South Bend, Indiana:'
The Ordinance was given its f irst. reading by title, its second reading in full and
on Motion of Counciiman_Hiss the Rules were suspended on the following vote: Nelson, Whiteman
Goetz, Jaworski, Hiss, Oakley, Grzeskowiak and Cripe. Ayes 8, Nays 00 Rules suspended and
Ordinance goes to third reading.'
The Ordinance was given its third reading by title and was placed upon.its passage and
passed by the following vote: Nelson, Whiteman, Goetz, Lworski, Hiss,,,,--Oakley., Grzeskowiak,
and Cripe, Ayes S, Nays 0. Ordinance adopted.
ORDINANCE N0.
An Ordinance fixing tka and authorizing the allowance of $60.00) Sixty Dollars "for
r$ automobile Expemse per month to the Bailiff of the City Court of the City of South
Bend, Indiana: ;
The Ordinance was given its first reading by title, its second reads #g in full and
on Motion of Councilman Cripe was referred to the Committee of the - `hole. Motion carried.
ORDINANCE N0.
An Ordinance fixing the annual Salaries_of.Certain officials of the Building and
Electrical Departments of the City of South Bend, Indiana.`.
The Ordinance was given its first reading by title, its.second reading in full and
on Motion of Councilman Hiss was referred zx3 the Pees and Salaries Committee to report back
to the Committee of the Whole.' Motion carried.
On Motionnof Councilman Grzeskowiak the Council adjourned at 9 :00 o'clock P*" M#'`
