Be it Remembered that - the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Regular Session in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, Monday evening October 12th, 1931, at the hour of 4:15 o'clock P: M: All Members present except Councilman Rokop. President Nelson presided. The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and on Motion of Councilman Hull were referred to the Committee o7j the Inspection and Supervision of the Minutes. Motion carried :' REPORT OF CITY PLAN-_COMMISSION'. Sept: 92 1931 :j To the Common Council, City of South Bend:' Gentlemen. • Ordinance for change of zoning classification of property of E: Jefferson Ste; from St*'' Peter St.' to Eddy St:' from residence to Commercial zone was acted upon by the City Plan Commission at their meeting Sept:' 3rd and this change is not approved:' Yours truly, D.- Moomaw,_ Sect The report was accepted and ordered to be placed on file:' Motion carried REPORT OF COMMITTEE ON'- "MINUTES. To the Common. Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee on the inspection and supervision of the minutes, would respectfully report that they have inspected the minutes of the previous meetting of, -the Council and found them correct. Ordinance adopted. RESOLUTION. INTRODUCED H COUNCILMAN JOHN C. NELSON. BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend: That the bond, and or bonds, of the „Treasurer of the City of South Bend.conditioned upon the faithful compliance of such - Treasurer with the provisions of Chapter 99 of the Acts of the General Assembly for the year 1931, being a An Act for the collection, payment and enforcement of special assessments levied on account of public improvements add bonds issued im antioipation of such a collection," etc., and for the faithful accounting for all funds coming to his hands pursuant to the provisions of such Act and the statutes to which ;it is supplemental, be fixed al the total amount of Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000 :'00) and that the res4 taxion heretofore adopted by this Council on the 13th day of-July, 1931, with reference to the amount of such fond be amended to read Two Hundred Fifty :1 T Ousand .
