MINUTES.
Be it Remembered that the Common Council met in the Regular Session in the Council Chambers
in the City Hall., Monday evening January 26th, 1931 at the hour of 7 :35 o'clock P*` M*` All
members present except-Councilmen Hull, Hiss and Oakley:' President Nelson presided. The Minutes
of the previous meeting were read and on Motion of Councilman Cripe were referred to the
Committee on the Inspection and Supervision of Minutes: Motion carried.'

Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred An Ordinance ratifying, confirming and
approving a certain contract and agreement made'and entered into by and between the City of Spt,
South Bend, Indiana by and through its -Board of Public Works. and Northern Indiana Railway ,Inc.,
.which said contract relates to the construction , maintenance , operation and use of street
and interurban railway tracks upon certain streets in the City of South Bend, Indiana.'
Respectfully report that they have examined the matter, and that in their opinion the said
Ordinance should be reported Favorable:` Jno`0 Kiss, Chairman` The report was accepted

An ordinance ratifying, confirming and approving a certain contract and agreement made
and entered into by and between the City of South Bend,. Indiana by and through its Board of
Public Works, and Northern_Indiana'Bailway, Inc., which am said contract relates to the
construction , maintenance, operation and use of street and interurban railway tracks upon
certain streets in the City of South Bend, Indiana.
The Ordinance was given its third_ reading by title, and was placed upon its passage and
