Be it.Remembered that the Common Council met in the Regular Session in the Council
chambers in the City Hall, Monday evening June 23rd, 1930 at the hour of 8 :00 o'clock P.' M:
611 Members present except Councilman Nelson and Altfeld. President Fegan presided. The
linutes of the two previous pxz meetings were read and on Motion of Councilman Hull were
eferred to the Committee on the Inspection and.Supervision of Minutes: Motion carried:

rf South Bend to change the name of Division Street to Western Avenue. ( Signed by 15 signers.).

An Ordinance to amend Ordinance No 2331 adopted by the Common Council of tLe City of South
Bend, Indiana, on June 25th, 1923, and commonly known as the " Zoning Ordinances:
Tile Ordinance was given its third reading by title, and was placed upon-its passage and
passed by the following vote: Fegan, Whiteman, Rokop, Hull, Jaworski, Hiss, Oakley, Grzeskowiak,

An Ordiinan6e Providing for the establishing of a Dog Pound and for the registration of dog
bitches and other animals of the canine species; for the inolculation of such dogs with an
app roved and recognized anti- rabies serum; prohibiting all dogs from running at largerAn the
city of South Bend Indiana, unless so inoculated or muzzled; providing means for identifying do
so registered-,and 14culated; providing that _dogs so inoculated may under certain conditions run
at large; providing that any dog,runn�ig at large and not so inoculated and properly tagged or
muzzled may be impounded; provided for the destruction or sale of 41'doge impounded upon
failure of the owner to redeem the same; and appropriating Twenty- -five Hundred Dollars ($2500)
from the General Fund ' of the City of South Bend and the Board of Public Safety for the salary , o
