AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING THE SUM OF
$1,500.00 FROM VARIOUS ACCOUNTS TO
VARIOUS ACCOUNTS WITHIN FA144, YOUTH
SERVICE BUREAU BUDGET, IN THE REVENUE
SHARING TRUST FUND OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
In that certain extraordinary conditions have developed since
the adoption of the existing budget for the Youth Service Bureau it
is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in
the original budget for various functions of the Youth Service
Bureau to meet such extraordinary conditions; and
In that additional funds are needed for various accounts
within the Youth Service Bureau Budget, in the Revenue Sharing
Trust Fund to assure the Department's ability to properly perform
its functions; and in that a surplus exists in other various
accounts of said Department's budget which is not presently
needed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMP40N COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section I. That the sum of $1,500.0.0 be transferred between
various accounts as set forth below:
REDUCE THE FOLLOWING ACCOUNT
Account Description Amount
520.0 Rents $1,500.00
Total Reduction $1,500.00
INCREASE THE FOLLOWING ACCOUNT
410.0 Building Materials $1,500.00
Total Account Increase $1,500.00
Section II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council and its approval
by the Mayor.

The Youth Service Bureau recently moved into offices at 121 South Michigan
Street on River Bend Plaza.
The facility meets our needs well in that the location is accessible to
Youth Service Bureau clientele.
I am requesting a transfer of $1,500. from the Revenue Sharing category
rent to a new line item, space needs. This is requested in order to have move-
able partitions built to create offices in our facility. The Park Department
is willing to build the partitions, thus eliminating labor costs.
