(m P -_2 ' AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $18,642.00 FROM THE FEDERAL DISASTER ASSISTANCE ADMINISTRATION REIM- BURSEMENT FOR EXTRAORDINARY AND DIRECT COSTS IN- CURRED DURING THE BLIZZARD OF 1978, TO THE MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: In that the City of South Bend has applied for and received reimbursement from the Federal Disaster Assistance Administration for extraordinary and direct costs incurred during the Blizzard of 1978, all costs being in conformance with Public Law 93 -288; and In that said costs have been borne by the Department of Public Works through the Motor Vehicle Highway Fund, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: SECTION I: That the sum of $18,642.00 received from the Federal Disaster Assistance Administration be appropriated to the 1978 Motor Vehicle Highway Fund in the following amounts: ACCOUNT DESCRIPTION AMOUNT 260.0 Other Contractuals $189642.00 TOTAL APPROPRIATION $18,642.00 SECTION II: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and its approval by the Mayor. 4st READING`�"� PUBLIC HEARING •S -�� 2nd READING NOT APPROVED REFERRED PASSED r`J i tuber o 1"Xie Common Council /J 10 T signed only to provide an opportunity for public discussion and Council action on the issue.
