REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE March 22, 1965
To the Common Council of the City of South Bend:
Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO.
3702.. (Location: Leer St., Marine St., Mumford Court, Indiana Ave. and Bowman St.).
Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance go to the
Council as favorable.

Councilman Geib made a motion that the report be accepted and placed on file. Councilman Szymkowiak seconded
the motion. Motion carried.

Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO.
3702 ". (Location: Twyckenham Drive and Vernon St., Leer St., Indiana Ave. and the New York Central Railroad
and Calvert St.).
Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance go to the
Council as favorable.

Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance be held'over for

AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION FROM THE GENERAL
FUND AND TRANSFERRED TO THE BUILDING DEMOLITION REPAIR AND
CONTINGENT FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,500.00.

RESOLUTION NO. 95 - -65
RESOLUTION FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE ELECTRIC CURRENT
ACCOUNT OF THE CITY PLAN COMMISSION IN THE AMOUNT OF $100.00 AND
THE TRANSFER OF THE SAME FROM ANOTHER ACCOUNT IN THE SAME CATEGORY
DF THE CITY PLAN COMMISSION; SAME BEING A TRANSFER BETWEEN TWO
ACCOUNTS IN THE SAME CATEGORY, BOTH BEING IN THE CITY,PLAN COMMISSION
FUND.
WHEREAS, Certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget, so
that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the various
functions of.-.City Government to meet such extraordinary contingencies; and
WHEREAS, Electric utility service is necessary to assure its ability to properly perform its function and the
sum of $100.00 is needed forthwith; and
WHEREAS, A surplus exists in another account where it is not presently needed at this time; and more specifically)
as follows, to -wit:
1. One-hundred Dollars ($100.00) in Account 241 designated as printing other than
office supplies.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, That the sum of $100.00 be
transferred to Account No. 221 designated as Electric Current by transferring it from the following account,
to -wit:
1. One hundred Dollars :($100.00) from Account 241, which said account is in the
same category of the City Plan Commission.

NEW BUSINESS:
President Hunter announced that the meeting of the Council scheduled for April 26th would be moved to April 27th.
There being no further business before the Council, Councilman Geib made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Wise
seconded the motion. Motion carried and Council adjourned at 8:45 P.M.
