JULY 29, 1963
Be it remembered that this date having been set by the Council at the July 22, 1963, meeting, as the date for a
Special Meeting of the Comm Council, the Council met in the Committee of the Whole. The Meeting was called to
order by Councilman T. W. Lehman, Chairman of the Committee of the Whole. All members were present. The meeting
convened at 8:04 P.M.
ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE FIXING MAXIMUM SALARIES OF APPOINTED OFFICERS
AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR THE
YEAR 1964
This being the time previously set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given
an opportunity to be heard thereon. Miss:..Virginia Guthrie, Executive Secretary of the Civic Planning Association,
was heard.
Councilman Kroll made a motion the Ordinance go to the Council.as favorable. Councilman Muszynski seconded the
motion. Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Muszynski made a motion to
adjourn. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion carried and the Special Committee of the Whole Meeting
adjourned at 8:41 P.M.
