SOUTH BEND ANIMAL CARE & CONTROL SPECIAL COMMITTEE
The next meeting of the SBAC3 will take place this Thursday, July 25, 2013 at
5:30 p.m. in the Informal Council Chambers. Here is an update on what we have
and will cover:
1. We have completed sections 91.001 - 91.002. Amended copies of these
sections will be provided.
2. On Thursday we will review sections 91.015 - 91.033 which will include:
adding anti - tethering language, animal hoarding issues and policies to
address animal fighting.
3. We will postpone review of Section 91.003 until Chapter revision has been
completed. In the interim, we will be requesting guidance from both the
Department of Code as well as Administration & Finance in terms of a
cost - benefit analysis of said policies.
4. We will set meeting schedule for August.
