the Council Chambers on Monday, May 13, 1963, at 8:03 P.M., with all members present except Councilman Tellson.
The Meeting was called to order by Councilman T. W. Lehman, Chairman, who presided.
ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE,NO. 3702, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS AMENDED
(Relative to procedure of Amendments)
This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an
opportunity to be heard thereon. After some discussion among the Councilmen, Councilman Allen made a motion that the
public hearing be set over until the next meeting of the Council, May 27, 1963. Councilman Kroll seconded the motion,
Motion carried.
ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE ZONING A NEWLY ANNEXED TRACT OF LAND IN THE CITY
OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA (Crest Manor)
This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an
opportunity to be heard thereon. There being no one wishing to be heard, Councilman Kroll made a motion that the
Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Allen seconded the motion. Motion carried.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702
(Lots 1 -60 in City View Place)
This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an
opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Allen made a motion to exclude Lots 23 and 24 and the south forty (40)
feet of Lots 25, 26 and 27. Councilman Ladewski seconded the motion. Motion carried.. There being no one wishing
to be heard, Councilman Krueper made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable as amended. Council-
man Allen seconded the motion. Motion carried.

(Land bounded by Bendix Drive, Ryer, Lincolnway West and Ardmore Trail)
This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an
opportunity to be heard thereon. There being no one wishing to be heard, Councilman Kt6ll made a motion that the
Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Allen seconded the motion. Motion carried.

This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an
opportunity to be heard thereon. There being no one wishing to -be heard, Councilman Ladewski made a motion that the
Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion carried.

opportunity to be heard thereon. There being no one wishing to be heard, Councilman Kroll made a motion that the
Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Allen seconded the motion. Motion carried.

This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an
opportunity to be heard thereon. There being no one wishing to be heard, Councilman Kroll made a motion that the
Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Allen seconded the motion. Motion carried.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NNO. 3702, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS AMENDED
(Section 17 -A)
This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the abbe Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an
opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Allen made a motion that the public hearing be set over until the next
meeting of the Council, May 27, 1963. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion carried.
ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE STREET AND
TRAFFIC FUND, IN THE SUM OF $16,400.00
This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an
opportunity to be heard. Speaking in favor of the Ordinance was Dan Richardson, Street Commissioner. Miss Virginia
Guthrie, Civic Planning Association also spoke. Councilman Kroll made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council
as favorable. Councilman Allen seconded the motion. Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Kroll made a motion to adjourn.
