FEBRUARY 25, 1963
Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole in
the Council Chambers in the City Hall on Monday, February 25, 1963, at 8:05 P.M., with all members present except
Councilman Muszynski. The meeting was called to order by Councilman T. W. Lehman, Chairman, who presided.
ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702
(Lathrop east of Huey Street)
This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given
an opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Allen asked if: there- Vere-- .remonstrators,preseint at`the.hearing be-
gore Itbe` City. Planning Commission; There were none. - ..Councilmafi_Kroll::m.de a motion that the Ordinance go to the
Council as favorable. Councilman Ead&wski seconded the motion. Motion carried.
ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702
(Four corners of Olive and Hamilton)
This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given
an opportunity to be heard thereon. Speaking against the proposed Ordinance were Mr. Paul Noens, 1006 Bryan Street
and Mr. Peterson, both owners of parcels of subject property. Councilman Allen moved that the Ordinance go to the
Council as unfavorable. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Councilman Tellson also seconded the motion. Motion
carried.
ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702
(Woodland, Elwood, Ardmore Trail and Sheridan)
This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above - Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given
an opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Kroll made a motion that the Ordinance be recommended favorably to
the Council. Councilman Coleman seconded the motion. Motion carried.
ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702
(East side of Olive Street between Lathrop and Pershing)
This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given
an opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Tellson made a motion that the Ordinance go 'to the Council as
favorable. Councilman Ladewski seconded the motion. Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Glass made e-a motion to adjourn.
Councilman Coleman seconded the motion. Motion carried and the Committee of the Whole Meeting adjourned at 8:13 P.M.
