COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING
Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole in
the Council Chambers in the City Hall on Monday, February 11, 1963, at 8 :10 P.M., with all members present. The
meeting was called to order by Councilman T. W. Lehman, Chairman, who presided.
ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE SEWAGE
DISPOSAL FUND - $58,858.35

This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an
opportunity to be heard thereon. Martin Knoblick, representing the Civic Planning Association; was heard.
Councilman Glass made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Ladewski seconded the
mot =ion. Motion carried.
ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE PROJECT
EXPENDITURES ACCOUNT FUND - $821,687.48
This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an
opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorabl(
Councilman Ladewski seconded the motion. Motion carried.

AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE REDEVELOPMENT
DISTRICT CAPITAL FUND - $166,764.49
This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an
opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Tellson made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable.
Councilman Ladewski seconded the motion. Motion carried.

AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE MUNICIPAL
BONDS OF 1961 - $326,632.92
This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an
opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Kroll made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable.
Councilman Allen seconded the motion. Motion carried.

1962 - $997,991.09
This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an
opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Ladewski made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable,
Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried.

AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE 1960 GENERAL
STREET IMPROVEMENT FUND - $61,524.13
This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given
an opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as
favorable. Councilman Kroll seconded the motion. Motion carried.

AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE SANITATION
FUND - $1,077.55
This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an
opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Kroll made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable.
Councilman Ladewski seconded the motion. Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Muszynski made a motion to
adjourn. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion carried and the Committee of the Whole Meeting adjourned
at 8:24 P.M.
