APRIL 3, 1962
Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in Special Session in the Committee
of the Whole, on Tuesday, April 3, 1962, at 7::10 P.M., with all members present except Councilman Muszynski. The
meeting was called to order by Councilman T. W. Lehman, Chairman, who presided.
ORDINANCE
_.AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN 1960 GENERAL STREET IMPROVEMENT FUND -
$203,126.38
This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an
opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Kroll made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable.
Councilman Allen seconded the motion. Motion carried.
ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN MUNICIPAL BONDS OF 1961 - $1,098,406.56
This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an
opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Allen made a motion to amend the title of the.Ordinance to read "An
Ordinance for Additional Appropriations in Municipal Bonds of 1961 - $998,406.56 "; dud to amend Line six (6) in
Section II to read "Municipal Bonds of 1961 $998,406.56 ". Councilman Kroll seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Those being heard on the ordinance were Miss. Virginia Guthrie of the South Bend Civic Planning Association and Ray
Andrysiak, City Engineer.
Councilman Kroll made a motion that the Ordinance, as amended, go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Allen
seconded the motion. Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Kroll made a motion to adjourn.
Councilman Allen seconded the motion. Motion carri ed and the Committee of the Whole Meeting adjourned at 7:29 P.M.
