COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING
REGULAR MEETING
DECEMBER 11, 1961
Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole in
the Council Chambers in the City Hall on Monday, December 11, 1961, at 8:07 P.M., with all members present. The
meeting was called to order by Councilman T. W. Lehman, Chairman, who presided.
ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF
THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS AMENDED (Relative to Area of Residential Lots)
This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given
an opportunity to be heard thereon. Miss Virginia Guthrie of the Civic Planning Association and Robert L. Huff,
of the City Planning Commission were heard.
Councilman Krueper made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Muszynski seconded
the motion. Motion carried.
ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT FUND $305.00
This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given
an opportunity to be heard thereon.
Councilman Tellson made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Ladewski seconded
the motion. Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Muszynski made a motion to
adjourn. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion carried and the Committee of the Whole Meeting adjourned
at 8:13 P.M.
