Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole in
the Council Chambers, on Monday, June 12, 1961, at 8:07 P.M., with all members present. The meeting was called
to order by Councilman T. W. Lehman, Chairman, who presided.
ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE
MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM FUND AND THE BUILDING
DEPARTMENT FUND $888.48 .
This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given
an opportunity to be heard thereon. Those heard were Miss Virginia Guthrie, Albert Tovey, Manager of the Morris
Civic Auditorium and Verner Lane, Building Commissioner. Councilman Kroll made a motion that the Ordinance go to
the Council as favorable. Councilman Ladewski seconded the motion. Motion carried.
"There being no further business to come before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Muszynski made a motion to
adjourn. Councilman Kroll seconded the motion. Motion carried and the Committee of the Whole Meeting adjourned at
8:13 P.M.
