Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole
in the Council Chambers in the City Hall on Monday, March 27, 1961, with all members present. The meeting was callec
to order by Councilman T. W. Lehman, Chairman, who presided. The meeting convened at 8:10 P.M.
ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE STREET AND
TRAFFIC FUND (Off Street Parking Survey)
The above having been held in Committee since the March 13th, 1961, meeting of the Council, Councilman Kroll made
a motion that the Ordinance be withdrawn. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried.
ORDINANCE:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702, COMMONLY KNOWN AS
THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS
AMENDED (Parochial Schools)
This being the time heretofore set for Public Hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an
opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Kroll made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable.
Councilman Ladewski seconded the motion. Motion carried.
ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE SUM OF
$2,500.00 FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO THE 'BOARD OF HEALTH
(Aged and aging Program)
This being the time heretofore set for Public Hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an
opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Kroll made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable.
Councilman Krueper seconded the motion. Motion carried.
ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF A TRACT OF LAND OWNED
BY THE MUNICIPAL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA,
(Pokagon and State Road #31)
This being the time heretofore set for Public Hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an
opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable
Councilman Krueper seconded the motion. Motion carried.

This being the time heretofore set for Public Hearing din the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an
opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Krueper made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable.
Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion.
There being no further business to come before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Kroll made a motion to adjourn,
Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried and the Committee of the Whole Meeting adjourned at 8:18 P.N
