COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING
REGULAR MEETING APRIL 26, 1960
Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole,_Counc'
Chambers, City Hall, on Tuesday, April 26, 1960, at 8:11 P.M., with all members present. fhe meeting was called
to order by Councilman T. W. Lehman, Chairman, who presided.
ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE PROTECTION OF POLICE REPORTING SYSTEM AND
PROHIBITING THE USE OF SAID REPORTING SYSTEM FOR ANY PURPOSE OTHER THAN
MATTERS PERTAINING TO POLICE OR FIREMEN.
This being the time set for Public Hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an opportunity
to be heard thereon. Police Chief J. Charles Dutrieux was present and explained the system to the Council.
Councilman Kroll made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Allen seconded the
motion. Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Kroll made a motion to adjourn.
Councilman Coleman seconded the motion. Motion carried and the Committee of the Whole meeting adjourned at 5:15 P.M.
