SPECIAL MEETING NOVEMBER 30, 1959
Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in Special Session in the Council
Chambers, City Hall, on Monday, November 30, 1959, at 8:35 P.M., with all members present except Councilmen Erhardt
and Councilman Muszynski. The meeting was called to order by Stanley C. Korpal, President, who presided.
The Clerk read the following Call for Special Meeting:
STATE OF INDIANA
COUNTY OF ST. JOSEPH SS: CALL FOR SPECIAL MEETING
CITY OF SOUTH BEND
To the President and Members of the Common Council of'the City of South Bend, Indiana:
Gentlemen:
You are hereby notified that under and by virtue of the authority vested in me by law as Mayor of the City of South
Bend, "in the State of Indiana, a Special Meeting of the Common Council of said City is hereby called to meet in the
Council Chambers in the City Hall, at the hour of 8 :30 P.M., on Monday, November 30, 1959 for the purpose of taking
action on the following:
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONEY FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO THE 1959 GENERAL STREET IMPROVEMENT FUND
The Chief of Police or any member of the Police Force is hereby directed to forthwith serve a copy of this notice
on each and every member of the Common Council and make due return of such service of said Special Meeting.

Councilman Hahn made a motion that the Call for Special Meeting be accepted and placed on file. Councilman Kroll
seconded the motion. Motion carried.
ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Councilmen Korpal, Tellson, Christman, Kroll, Glass, Hahn and Erler.
ABSENT: Councilmen Erhardt and Muszynski.
Councilman Erhardt then entered the Council Chambers. Councilman Kroll made a motion to amend the roll call to in-
dicate Councilman Erhardt's presence. Councilman Christman seconded the motion. Motion carried. Roll call amended.)
ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONEY FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO THE 1959 GENERAL STREET IMPROVEMENT FUND
The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Hahn made a motion that the
Ordinance be set for public hearing on December 14th, 1959. Councilman Kroll seconded the motion. Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Special Meeting of the Council, Councilman Hahn made a motion to
adjourn. Councilman Kroll seconded the motion. Motion carried and the Special Meeting of the Common Council
adjourned at 8 :40 P.M.,
