REGULAR MEETING:
OCTOBER 14, 1958
Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole, in
the Council Chambers,Tuesday, October 14, 1958, at 7:11 P.M., with all members present except Councilman Carr. The
meeting was called to order By President Stanley Korpal, who asked Councilman Hahn to act as Chairman of the
Committee of the Whole in the absence of Councilman Carr.
ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE AND
SALE OF BONDS OF SAID CITY FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FUNDS TO BE APPLIED TO
THE COST OF CONSTRUCTION, RE- CONSTRUCTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF STREETS, AND
EXPENSES INCURRED IN CONNECTION THEREWITH.

Councilman Korpal stated that due to further study required on this Ordinance, the Councilmen would like to postpone
the hearing for two weeks or sooner by calling a special meeting.
There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Korpal made a motion to adjourn.
Councilman Kroll seconded the motion. Motion carried and the Committee of the Whole Meeting adjourned at 7 :12 P.M.
