COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING: SEPTEMBER 22, 1958
Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole,
in the Council Chambers, Monday, September 22, 1958, with all members present except Councilman Carr. In the
absence of Mr. Carr, Chairman of the Committee of the Whole, President Stanley C. Korpal asked Councilman Hahn
to preside. The meeting was called to order at 8:04 P.M.

AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN BOARD OF WATER WORKS COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND AND CLYDE E. WILLIAMS & ASSOCIATES, INC., DATED AUGUST 25, 1958,
FOR SURVEY AND STUDY OF WATER SUPPLY REQUIREMENTS.

OF BONDS OF SAID CITY FOk THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FUNDS TO BE APPLIED TO THE COST
OF CONSTRUCTION, RE- CONSTRUCTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF STREETS, AND EXPENSES INCURRED
IN CONNECTION THEREWITH.
Proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard on this Ordinance. It was decided by the Council
that the hearing on this Ordinance would continue to the next Regular meeting of the Council.
There being no further business before the Council, Councilman Korpal made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Christman
seconded the motion. Motion carried and the Committee of the Whole meeting adjourned at 8:52 P.M.
