SUBJECT: Additional Services for Ignition Park Major Subdivision
On 10- 25 -11, the Redevelopment Commission approved a proposal from Danch, Harper &
Associates, Inc. for survey and engineering services related to the Ignition Park Major Subdivision.
The proposal was approved in the amount of $23,295.
On January 10, 2013, the Commission approved additional funds in the amount of $1,490 for the
project. It was recently brought to our attention that this amount was miscommunicated to us and
that the actual amount was higher. Danch, Harner & Associates has provided staff with
documentation that shows that they conducted additional work for the major subdivision process in
the amount of $3,285.
Staff requests Commission approval of additional funds in the amount of $3,285 from the AEDA TIF
to cover the services for the major subdivision work.

RE: Providing additional services for the Ignition Park
Major Subdivision, South Bend, Indiana:

Please accept this letter as our written confirmation of the cost to provide additional
services in the preparation of in the proposed Ignition Park Major Subdivision located in
South Bend, Indiana.
Per our contract agreement with the City of South Bend, any requested revisions
required by the City or by any review agencies would be done at our standard hourly
rates. Our invoice No. 16231 in the amount of $ 3,285.00 covered the costs of the final
set of revisions required by the Area plan Commission as part of the Subdivision Plat
approval. The Area plan Commission staff had sent a request to the various City
Departments asking for comments on the Final Plat. We made those requested changes
and returned the revised Final Plat to the staff for approval and recording. This invoice
covers the changes that were not included in our previous invoice for additional work.
