Dear Brian:
At its August 25, 2026 meeting, the Board of Public Works approved the above
referenced Change Order be increased by $1,566,567.78 and additional two hundred and
ninety-five days, bringing the revised contract amount to $45,132,658.78 with a
completion date of January 15, 2027.
Enclosed is a copy of the Change Order for your records.

SUBJECT: Four Winds Renovation and Expansion: Change Order #1

Greetings, The documents herein detail the costs associated with Change Order #1 for the Four Winds Renovation and Expansion Project. The change order will add the buildout of the office suite on the 3rd floor of the new events building which was cut from the original
project. It will also add a strong traffic coating to the existing concourse that will prevent
future leaking of water into the facility basements, which was identified during the renovation project. Finally, it adds 3 canopies to the facility. Two are on the existing stadium for guest comfort and to prevent water infiltration at entry gates. The third is for the new rooftop on the event building and is now being required by the health
department and will also improve guest and employee comfort.
The funding for this is in the project in DFO and comes from a combination of project budget savings and bond interest dollars and did not require any general or TIF funding. This change order represents a total change of 3.6% on the contract. This is expected
to be the only change order on the project.
