The scope of work is demolition, backfill, grading and seeding of thirteen (13) residential parcels spread throughout the City of South Bend. C&E Excavating is pre-qualified as a Responsible Bidder and is committed to meeting both the MWBE goals for the project. Their bid is within budget. I recommend award of the bid for 2026 NSE Demolitions to C&E Excavating, in the amount of $381,372. Funding is available through the Economic Development Income Tax by way of PR-00048966.
