Nominating Committee Report

Jeff,
Kyle Willis and I, serving as the nominating committee for the Tax Board, have
completed discussions with Board Members to determine candidates for the three
Hotel Motel Tax Board officer positions of President, Vice President and
Treasurer/Secretary.
Due to the resignation and relocation of Ron Zeltwanger to central Indiana it was
necessary to select a new Treasurer for consideration by the board. In addition to
contacting the individuals currently serving as officers, we contacted all current Board
Members to determine if there was interest from anyone in being considered for one
of the Board positions, requesting a response prior to July 3, 2026. The responses from
members consisted of only one comment indicating that during his tenure on the
Board he had previously held these positions.
Having completed our contact of all Board Members the committee is now ready to
present the following slate of officer candidates for action at the Board’s August 13,
2026, meeting:
• President John Anthony
• Vice President Micki Kidder
• Treasurer/Secretary Rob DeCleene
