This year,the East Race Waterway is celebrating its 30`h anniversary.Until August 11,all can enjoy August 23rd
white water rafting in downtown South Bend on Niles Avenue. The race is open weekends only,Saturdays The Whistle Pigs
12-5pm and Sundays 1-5pm. The cost is$5 per person per ride.Required height for rafting is 54". Children (Classic Rock,Jazz,and R&B)
under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult in the raft.It's a white water course for beginners August 30th
and the advanced.

In June South Bend experienced severe weather that resulted in power outages.As the power company Allegiant Airlines Dodge Ball
worked to restore power,multiple city departments came together to clear debris and restore services, Tournament
