REGULAR MEETING
Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend met in the Council caucus room
of the County -City Building on Tuesday, April 12, 1977, at 7:OO p.m., Council President Roger 0.
Parent presiding. The meeting was called to order.
ROLL CALL PRESENT: Council Members Serge, Szymkowiak, Miller, Taylor,
Dombrowski, Horvath and Parent
ABSENT: Council Members Kopczynski and Adams
Council President Parent announced that the only purpose of this meeting was to continue all bills
set for public hearing on April 12, 1977, to April 13, 1977. The bills involved were to purchase
Clay Utilities, Inc.
Council Member Taylor made a motion to resolve into the Committee of the Whole, seconded by Counci
Member Dombrowski. The motion carried.

COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE
Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend met in the Committee of the
Whole on Tuesday, April 12, 1977, at 7:01 p.m., with seven members present.
Council President Parent made a motion to continue all public hearing set for April 12, 1977 to
April 13, 1977, seconded by Council Member Dombrowski. The motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Committee of the Whole, Council Member DombrowEki
made a motion to rise and report to the Council, seconded by Council Member Taylor. The motion
carried.
RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION APPROVING A FIFTH AMENDMENT TO A CONTRACT
BETWEEN THE SOUTH BEND CITY WATER WORKS AND SEWAGE DIS-
POSAL PLANT AND CLAY UTILITIES, INC., FOR FURNISHING
OF WATER AND SEWAGE TREATMENT TO THE CLAY TOWNSHIP AREA
IN ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA.
The above resolution was set for public hearing on April 12, 1977. Council Member Dombrowski mad
a motion to continue public hearing on the resolution to April 13, 1977, seconded by Council Member
Taylor. The motion carried. 11
Council Member Dombrowski made a motion to continue this meeting until 7:00 p.m., April 13, 1977,
seconded by Council Member Taylor. The motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Council, unfinished or new, Council Member Hor ath
made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Council Member Dombrowski. The motion carried and the meeting

was adjourned at 7:05 p.m.
